Absolutely loved our meal at Kara Cha! The samosas were crisp and flavorful, and the paratha roll was hands-down one of the best I’ve had—perfectly flaky and packed with delicious fillings. The chicken was incredibly fresh, tender, and well-seasoned. Great flavors, cozy vibe, and definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

We went there for Kashmiri chai, my DIL said it was good, I had masala chai, also good. But the food was even better. So fresh! Atmosphere is super casual. Great place for friends and I loved the paintings done by the Painting Group that meets there.

We ordered Masala chais and a papri chaat which were both great! Our order took 25 minutes to prepare and we were the only customers there but the wait was worth it. We have some non chaat lovers in the family and even they enjoyed it. The artwork and music created a nice atmosphere. The chai was perfect on this rainy day.

My husband and I went out for a late-night snack and ordered the Karak fries and Masala Chai. The Karak fries were soooo delicious, definitely a 10/10! The sauces had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned. We went on a weekend night during Ramadan, so there was a bit of a wait for our order. The owner kindly gave us a complimentary sparkling mango mojito to thank us for our patience, which we really appreciated! I’m excited to go back for the Karak fries and hopefully to try out the Paint & Chai event next time!

This place is awesome! Beautiful decor, fun atmosphere, and fresh food. The staff were welcoming and attentive too. I had wanted to stop by for several months -- I wish I came sooner!

This place is such a cute spot to visit during Ramadan. The staff is so friendly and the drinks are amazing! My friends and I got mojitos and chai. It was a great experience! Highly Recommend!!!

Philadelphia’s food scene is constantly on the up & up and Karak Chai House is the proof of the same. You wouldn’t expect to eat great Pakistani food, especially street food in good ol’ Philly. We have been a few times and the food is always on point, authentic, and the vibes are immaculate. They host paint & chai (tea) events, have desi singers on a regular basis. But if you are here during the day time, enjoy a game or 2 of Ludo! My favorite must haves are the Gulab waffles, samosas and the Rolls!

Karak Cha is an amazing restaurant! My friend and I went there for the chai and we were blown away. The chai is so rich, flavorful, and authentic. We also got the chicken tikka paratha roll and we absolutely loved them. The atmosphere of the restaurant also has a cozy vibe which was great for chilling and doing some work. Amazing service, chill atmosphere, and perfect for a quick snack or hangout. Definitely coming back!
